VLADIcast staff converts video from a DVD source into formats designed for Internet-based consumption. Rough cuts, locked picture, short films, feature length films, screeners, and other video materials are delivered to VLADIcast on DVD. Video is then converted to the following formats.

     Flash Video

The most popular streaming format on the Internet, popularized by sites such as YouTube. FLV streaming files are embedded into GoScreening sites and are instant-on playable from within a standard web browser! VLADIcast video files are encoded at a MUCH higher quality rate than the average YouTube clip, allowing users to experience optimized, full-screen playback on their PC or Mac.

     QuickTime iPod/iPhone Compatible

Quicktime video files have been popularized by their usage in Apple products such as the iPod and iPhone. These files can be downloaded and played on a PC or MAC desktop. Additionally, they can be synced to an iPod or iPhone. VLADIcast encodes these files at the highest quality rate possible for iPod and iPhone compatibility. Video can be played back at high resolution on an iPod or iPhone connected to a television set, or directly on a MAC or PC Desktop.

     fluxDVD

FluxDVD is a new file format which allows users to download files from a web site directly onto any blank DVD-R or DVD+R in a PC’s DVD Burner. DVD’s can then be played back on any DVD Player. Files are compressed for quick delivery via an Internet Download. No special Recordable Disk or DVD Burner is required to save and play back these files.

After conversion to these formats, video files are uploaded to VLADIcast’s Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) for PRIVATE or PUBLIC viewing online.

VLADIcast works closely with you to define the most optimal process for delivery of DVD source materials and their eventual deployment to your online screening room.

Our engineers and designers work closely with you to create and maintain your public or private video distribution site. Your corporate assets such as logos and designs are gathered and organized into a web site built specifically for the purpose of sharing video content with your customers.

GoScreening Web Applications are customizable. You determine features, graphical layout, and specific text copy for your screening room. New features and text can be defined and placed within the screening room at any time.

GoScreening applications can track usage of video in your screening room. In private screening rooms, a list of all users to whom videos are sent, as well as a list of all users who clicked through to watch the video are made available. In public screening rooms, data such as registered users, video purchase data, and free video viewership data is made available to you.

Public Screening Rooms can be:

  • Online video pay-per-view, download to own, or subscription stores
  • Free/Ad-supported video streaming or download stores
  • Public video sharing web sites
When creating public screening rooms, VLADIcast works with you to define payment systems (such as PayPal) and policy for video, advertising integration on free content, and the general flow of your public video distribution web site.

Private Screening Rooms can be secure online areas which serve as a review area for:

  • Screeners
  • Rough Cuts
  • Graphic Tests
  • Chase Tapes
  • Locked Picture
  • Any video that may need quick producer approval
When creating private screening rooms, VLADIcast imports your existing e-mail contact lists. Once imported into the screening room, you will have the ability to securely share video content with your contacts. Your contact list will be presented in a private viewing area online. Choosing contacts and the videos which you wish to send will generate an e-mail with a PRIVATE link to the chosen contacts. Recipients will be able to click the private link in their e-mail, identify themselves by registering with your site, and watch or download the video for a limited time period. Private links are unique one-time use only for secure access to video.

Private Screening Rooms save you time and create efficiencies in private video sharing by eliminating the need to ship and organize physical DVD’s. By electronically sending private links to video, the cost and time involved in physically sending media is eliminated. For the recipient, videos are always available securely online. Thus, the hassle of finding and organizing physical DVD media is eliminated.

Already streaming video on your website?

VLADIcast can add the ability for your users to download video directly to a DVD recordable for playback on any standard home DVD player. Downloaded DVD’s are in the fluxDVD format. FluxDVD’s retain all of the original interactivity of a standard authored DVD, including menus, bonus material, and video/auto settings options. They are compressed for quicker download via the web.

All fluxDVD downloads occur via a web browser (Internet Explorer or Firefox) on a user’s PC. No special Recordable Disk or DVD Burner is required to save and play back these files. All files can be downloaded to a standard DVD-R or DVD+R on virtually any DVD Burner.

VLADIcast staff will work closely with you to create and maintain the DVD burning experience for your customers. We understand that you have invested a lot in the creation and distribution policy of your existing web site. Thus, we will work with you in order to integrate your user authentication system into the DVD burning experience for secure delivery of content to your existing customers.
